Well, thing its time to stick to my promise to many of you. I shall revive this blog of mine. ( Seriously this time)
To start off i shall blog about a recent outing with Gillian. It was about noon when we met up. Took a quick lunch at long john silver and my oh my, it IS really nice. I ordered the potato salad that i had during the national day celebrations and it was just absoultely delicious. While Gillian had her shrimp, prawn and chicken combo meal. ( WOW, and might i add that she can really EAT)
After that we went to take a breather and went to the arcade machine and tried really REALLY hard to get a soft toy out of the accursed claw machine thingymajig. We tried for a cute grey turtle ( didnt make it, it swung out of the claw by itself) A stitch ( from the movie lilo and stitch) We almost got it cus it was really near the opening. But sadly the claw hit t away and alas it was all futile. Oh well XD We had fun

Oh yes later we we headed for precious tots and chanced upon this adorable smiley toy. ( Above) Unfortunately it was too expensive at that moment in time. ( I had a jamming session and a steamboat outing the next few days. Which i really wouldnt want to miss it for the world)
So moving on, had ben's and jerry's ice cream at raffles place. And then i received a call from shima using fiona's mobile phone, she called to ask where to alight to get to penisula. apparently she had to get somethings from that place. =) After the ice cream( which by the way was REDICUOUSLY expensive. ) We headed to esplanade, cus i wanted to head there to the rooftops to chill out for a moment. And well along the way we took these

And along the path there were little adorable kids painting the walls for a art festival. Seeing them makes me want to have my own kids haha. I absolutely love kids. XD
Well we chilled at the rooftops at esplanade for an hour or so. Lovely wind. And then headed to a taiwan food store at marina square and bought a XXL chicken chop to share. Then we decided its time to head home. Decided to send Gillian home since it was rather late and her house is really deep inside. But something caught Gillian's eye while on the way home. Guess what?
YESS its the swing that we used to play while we were little kids. Gillian decided to become a 7 year old kid and play on the swing. At first i was reluctant, only pushing her much to her horror really high up. After countless Pouting and pleading from her i decided to get on the swing myself. " Heck i thought, what harm could it do right? " But i was wrong a few swings later i started to compete with her to see who could go higher. It was amazingly fun hehe. After that i sent her home and then took off home myself. Thus ending a intresting day.
