Hey hey all ^^ How ya all been?
Let me use today to talk a little about what kind of music i like. Hope that it will let you know more about me.
Its quite simple actually, i listen to all genres of music except for songs by 50 cent, jay z and stuff like that. I shall first touch on visual kei rock bands in japan. This is a genre that i recently exposed myself to. Visual Kei band, its name speaks for itself. they promote their music through visuals, often elaborate and perhaps gory.
Their music can range from ballads to fast rock. What i like about them is their ability to create unusual music music that perhaps transcends into the realms of the blues and jazz. That makes their music unusual and original. Of such bands i would like to reccomend 3 of them.
They are Alice 9, Dir En grey, Malice Mizer ( now known as Moi Dix Mois).
Perhaps some of you have heard about them and perhaps not give their music a try. For those new into this genre, they are similar to the band Lucify in the recent Superband competition.
Some people looking at them might call people who listen to them sick, crazy stuff like that.
But they should overlook the visual aspect of these bands and delve into thier music. Only there can they find what these bands are actually creating.
